Allegations of academic misconduct and fabrication against Cambridge professor Jason Arday are endless and continued up to his self-inflicted death at his home in London a few hours ago. From May 2023, until his death, Jason Arday lied about everything to everybody to protect or embellish his reputation. This pseudo-intellectual in black studies and such, bullied & attacked any colleague who even questioned his honesty & ethics– and there were many.

Anjum Memon, a respected epidemiologist on mental health services, and Paula Zwozdiak-Myers, a respected education academic, were legitimate researchers Jason Arday heavily plagiarized. There is no longer any question in serious academia about that fact. In response to credible colleague criticism, Jason Arday referred to it as a cancer that should be eradicated from academia.

Allegations of academic fraud against Jason Arday went unpublished for over three years due to legal threats, behind-the-scenes political leverage in academia, and well-organized DEI attack campaigns. In July 2026, a Substack post by Nathan Cofnas, a postdoctoral researcher in philosophy at University of Ghent, broke the scandal.

Earlier peer-reviewed critiques of Jason Arday’s plagiarism, and there were many, had been squelched through official channels by DEI political juice. Substack isn’t peer-reviewed, meaning it doesn’t have to go through academic channels to be published, it just needs to be correct. Substack is a respected platform, so that was enough to turn public attention to Jason Arday’s murky lies.

Substack whistleblower Nathan Cofnas stated that he had run Jason Arday’s Ph.D thesis through plagiarism detection software and discovered that “many passages are lifted with minimal editing, sometimes retaining copy-editing mistakes from the original source”.

Jason Arday was an epitome of the decline in academic standards, and his disgrace gives pause to those who regard black studies, etc, as low-value pseudo-science. This sordid affair played into lowering academic standards through DEI policies. According to Wikipedia, “Jason Arday was a fraudster, plagiarist, and a serial fantasist with an obviously paper-thin research record.” Jason Arday is what Nikole Hannah-Jones begets to DEI academia.

Jason Arday and Cambridge University shamelessly played the race card whenever anybody tried to question his integrity. Jason Arday’s life’s “work” leaves a feeling that DEI acolytes are inflating their importance and being given preferential treatment. In truth, Jason Arday was nothing more than a pawn (albeit a temporarily useful one) on the grand political chessboard.

About his memoirs, Wikipedia reads: Jason Arday’s family described him as a gentle man who sought the best in others, saying that “Jason was subjected to a campaign of sustained abuse for the more than three years since he accepted the role of professor at Cambridge University by those who would leave no stone unturned in their quest to undermine him” and that it had become too much for him to bear.

Jason Arday has been declared a victim forever, so the attack campaign against the “racists” who exposed his lies & fraud in academia must be continued with renewed vigor. This is part of an overall attack by the far right & fake left on science, education and health care. DEI, along with far right bigotry, feed & play off each other. This distracts & confuses the working masses, who then can be manipulated through ruling class propaganda.

There is no question the DEI mob has blood on their hands with Jason Arday. He was one of them, used until he wasn’t useful anymore. Jason Arday was too cowardly to face his lies in life, so he ended it. His death is a sad reminder to do something meaningful with your life and not waste it like Jason Arday, because few honor his memory. Jason Arday was all about maintaining a fanatical, self-aggrandizing fiction of himself by attacking and slandering any critic of Jason Arday. In short, he represented the DEI big lie.
